Operations Gate Inspections Inspections view

The Inspections view displays the gate inspections recorded at the current scope level. Gate inspection clerks can use this view to record a basic inspection before a truck reaches the ingate. Use this view to add a new inspection, and edit or delete an existing inspection. In the Inspections view, N4 adds a record for each equipment that you inspect.

N4 uses the data stored in the Inspections view to auto-populate the gate forms when the gate clerk processes the specified equipment. When a clerk successfully processes a gate transaction with an inspection, N4 applies the inspection details to the specified equipment.

You can configure the WaitForContainerInspection (on page 1) and WaitForChassisInspection (on page 1) business tasks at an ingate stage to specify how long:

• An inspection is valid for ingate processing.

• N4 must wait to start the ingate processing after an inspection is completed.

To add a new record:

To edit or delete a record:

1. In the list view, select the record(s) that you want to edit or delete.

2. Do one of the following:

• Click to edit a selected record.

• Click to delete the selected record(s).
